Confessions of a Madman

02:16 am - oww owww owwwwwww

So.... I started going to a different gym than the meat market I used to never go to anyways. 100% trainer time. 2 sessions a week. 20 minutes a pop. I'm not kidding. It's a different methodology called Super-Slow (insert trademark symbol and other lawyer/demon sigils here), seems to make a lot of sense logic-wise, and I have a lot of anecdotal proof (first hand) that it works, and works rather fast. It focuses on going really slow (duh) and working until failure. 5 exercises per session. 1-2 minutes per exercise.

There is only one problem: HOLY FUCK IT HURTS!

No. I mean. It hurts! OW hurt. Like, today was day 1, right? It was twice as long in order to deal with walkthroughs and explanations and stuff... but the workout was still only about 15-20 minutes of lifting. No real pauses or delays. And I was totally winded.

And now... Um. I'm getting the ability to use my arms again. Kinda.

My legs are fine. But that's only because it was my first session and we guessed on the legs a little low. I'm sure that next time, walking will be... interesting. if not neigh-impossible.
